Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Hemodynamic instability in:
  • septic shock
  • pneumonia
  • polytrauma
  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • heart failure
  • post operative cardiosurgical patients

Exclusion

  • Atrial fibrillation
  • Pacemaker or implantable cardiac defibrillator
  • Aortic or mitral valve disease
  • Intra-aortic balloon pump
