Inclusion
- Written informed consent from the patient
- Primary, unilateral and bilateral groin hernias
Exclusion
- No written informed consent
- Recurrent hernias
- 'Incarcerated' hernias
- pregnant women: reaction of a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field on the foetus is unknown
- Patients with pacemaker or Internal defibrillator
