Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- women in labor at term pregnancy
- healthy
- epidural analgesia in place
- breakthrough pain in advanced labor
Exclusion
- chronic pain syndrome
- receiving systemic opioids within 4 hours
- receiving chronic antidepressants, clonidine, opioids
