Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- diagnosis of T3N+ rectal cancer
- above age of 18
- able to conduct a cardiopulmonary exercise test on a cycle ergometer
Exclusion
- unable to conduct a cardiopulmonary exercise test on a cycle ergometer
- metastatic disease
