Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Age \>16 years
- Able to give written informed consent
- Requiring intercostal tube drainage of a pleural effusion for clinical reasons
Exclusion
- Requiring intercostal tube drainage for chest trauma
- Requiring blunt dissection for drain insertion
