Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- type 2 diabetic patients
- naive to therapy
- glycated hemoglobin \> 6.5 and \< 9.0 %
Exclusion
- hepatic and renal diseases
- recent cardiovascular diseases
- previous pancreatitis
- history of cancer
