Inclusion
- COPD stage III or IV according to the Global Initiative for chronic obstructive lung disease \[GOLD\]
- stationary patient in the Schön Klinik Berchtesgadener Land
Exclusion
- acute, severe exacerbation of COPD
- failure to comply with study process
