Inclusion
- Elective surgery for thoracic aneurysm
Exclusion
- Prior trombosis or myocardial infarction, congenital coagulation disorder, use of anti-coagulants prior to surgery, prior thoracic surgery, pregnancy, pre-operative fibrinogen concentration \<1g/L
