Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Vaginal delivery at either BIDMC or Mt. Auburn Hospital complicated by either third or fourth degree perineal laceration
  • Age 18 or older

Exclusion

  • History of previous vaginal delivery after 24 weeks gestation
