Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Inclusion criteria:
- Adult patients that will undergo VAD placement.
- Patients able to give consent
- Exclusion criteria:
- Patients on dialysis (hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis)
- Non-elective VAD placement (VAD implantation decision made within 24 hours)
