Inclusion
- Adult outpatients (18 years or older)
- routinely referred for small bowel video capsule endoscopy (CE)
Exclusion
- dysphagia
- severe gastroparesis requiring endoscopic placement of capsule
- small bowel obstruction
- pregnancy
