Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- COPD diagnosis
- sign inform consent
- able to tolerate the application of NIV
Exclusion
- inability to tolerate the mask
- contraindication to NIV
- cancer, neurological diseases, and need of another life support besides the ventilator
