Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Active participants in the Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study (DPPOS) in New York City originally randomized to metformin or placebo
  • 60 years and older

Exclusion

  • Known dementia
  • Contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Contraindications to radio-contrast agents.
