Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- age \<18 years
- admission to PICU
- sedation with dexmedetomidine lasted more than 24 hours
- written informed consent
Exclusion
- extreme prematurity (\<28 weeks of gestational age)
- hypersensitivity to the active substance
- incomplete data regarding outcome measures
