Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Adult end-stage renal disease patients maintained on regular hemodialysis

Exclusion

  • Chronic liver disease
  • Malignant condition
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • History of bowel resection
  • Long term antibiotic therapy
  • Pregnancy or lactation
  • Current use of immunosuppressive medication
