Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients 18-90 years old
- Primary unilateral total hip arthroplasty
- BMI 20 - 36
- Male and Female
- All races
Exclusion
- Patient refusal
- ASA class \> or = 4
- Pregnancy
- Any condition precluding patient going home with in 24 hours of surgery
- Non-English speaking or inability to participate in the study
- Patients with coagulopathy or on therapeutic anticoagulation
- Chronic Steroid Use
- Narcotic Addiction
