Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II,
  • Elective thyroid surgery with
  • Normal thyroid profile

Exclusion

  • History of previous thyroid surgery,
  • Preoperative vocal cord dysfunction
  • Predicted difficult airway
