Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Maxillary permanent dentition, except canines
  • Ages ranging from 12 to 16 years old;
  • Maxillary constriction associated to posterior crossbite uni or bilateral.

Exclusion

  • Cleft lip and palate;
  • Craniofacial syndromes;
  • Carious lesions;
  • History of previous orthodontic treatment.
