Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • hepatectomy of at least two segments

Exclusion

  • Hepatitis B, C or HIV infection
  • liver cirrhosis
  • autoimmune disease, inflammatory bowel disease
  • pregnancy
  • prior additional ablation therapies (cryosurgery or radiofrequency)
  • liver resections without inflow occlusion
