Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Operated for primary rectal cancer
  • 1-year radiological follow-up is planned
  • Ability to leave informed consent

Exclusion

  • Contrast medium insensitivity
  • Diagnosis of renal failure
  • Age below 40 years
  • Thyroid disease for which radioactive iodine treatment might be considered
