Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- adult patients with hip fractures that have to be operated (ICD S72.01-S72.2)
Exclusion
- severe liver damage
- ongoing dialysis therapy
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitor intake
- inability to give consent to trial participation
