Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Unimalleolar fracture + ligamentous injury
- Bi- or trimalleolar fracture ± ligamentous injury
- \> 17 years
- Date of injury less than 15 days
- Written informed consent
Exclusion
- Isolated unimalleolar fracture
- Pilon fracture
- Open fracture
- Mental illness, incompliance, pregnancy
- Multiple injuries
