Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- polytrauma patients admitted for emergency surgery.
Exclusion
- patients with obesity (BMI\> 35kg/m2),
- pregnancy,
- a history of upper gastrointestinal diseases including gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatus hernia, gastroeosphgeal cancer or upper GIT surgery.
