Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients scheduled for lumbar fusion surgery on account of vertebral fractures or degenerative spondylolisthesis.
- Patients consent.
Exclusion
- Opioid tolerance;
- Documented sleep apnoea or home oxygen therapy;
- History of alcohol or drug abuse;
- Patients with an allergy or hypersensitivity to opioids.
