Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Males above 65 years of age, females above 75 years of age.
- Scheduled idiopathic carpal tunnel release surgery.
- Informed written consent.
Exclusion
- Operation by other indication, e.g.
- Fracture
- Ganglion
- Known amyloidosis
