Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Any case with full manifestation of β-THALASSEMIA major disease
- #Aged from 7-15 years old
- \# accompanied with ineffective erythropoiesis
- \# with low hemoglobin level
- \# with iron overload
Exclusion
- The presence of any other chronic illness.
- Patient age\>15 years old or \< 7 years old.
- The presence of concomitant myocardial infarction, stroke, acute chest syndrome.
- The patient suffers from any other type of anemia.
