Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients eligible for ablative surgery for head and neck cancer with primary microvascular reconstruction.

Exclusion

  • Patients with conditions leading to increased risk of thromboembolic events
  • Patients pre-operatively admitted to the ICU
