Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • cervical spine surgery for cord compression

Exclusion

  • spinal cord injury
  • ASA class \>3
  • chronic kidney disease
  • congestive heart failure
  • BMI\>30
  • atrial fibrillation/ flutter
  • obstructive sleep apnea
