Inclusion

  • singleton pregnancy
  • at term
  • cephalic presentation
  • spontaneous labor
  • spontaneous vaginal delivery

Exclusion

  • multiple gestation
  • preterm gestation
  • induced labor
  • operative delivery
  • hypertension or preeclampsia
  • fetal anomaly
  • abnormal placentation
  • planned cord blood banking
  • maternal bleeding disorder
