Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • ASA Status \>III
  • obese BMI\>30
  • term gestatio \> 37 weeks
  • singleton pregnancy
  • undergoing elective cesarean section with spinal anesthesia
  • requesting epidural labor analgesia

Exclusion

  • contraindications to neuraxial block
  • severe scoliosis
  • previous spine surgery
