Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- colorectal cacer
- hystologic diagnosis of adenocarcinoma of the colon/rectum
- clinically staged T4
- written informed consent to surgery obtained
Exclusion
- pregnancy
- failure to perform colonic or rectal resection
- synchronous cancer at time of colorectal cancer diagnosis
