Inclusion
- Provide written informed consent (either from the patient or a substitute decision-maker)
- Indications for surgical treatment (septal myectomy) of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
Exclusion
- indications for mitral valve replacement
- Patient failure at any stage of the study
