Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients scheduled for an initial lumbar medial branch block

Exclusion

  • Allergy to local anesthetics
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Inability to provide informed consent in English
  • Adults unable to consent
  • Individuals who are not yet adults (infants, children, teenagers)
  • Pregnant women
  • Prisoners
