Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes
  • Sub-optimal glycaemic control (HbA1c 8.5%)
  • No current or planned attendance at other structured education programmes

Exclusion

  • Severe, physical/mental illness
  • Pregnancy
  • Unstable retinopathy
  • Significant learning difficulties
