Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II
- scheduled for elective surgery of more than 60 minutes duration. -
Exclusion
- Mallampati score of III or IV
- Neuromuscular disease
- History of allergy to the studied drugs
- Malignant hyperthermia
- Patients taking anticonvulsants or aminoglycoside antibiotic
- Hepatic dysfunction
- Renal dysfunction
- Cardiovascular dysfunction;
- Electrolyte imbalance
- Morbidly obese with a body mass index (BMI) more than 30 kg/m2
- Pregnant or nursing mothers.
