Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II
  • scheduled for elective surgery of more than 60 minutes duration. -

Exclusion

  • Mallampati score of III or IV
  • Neuromuscular disease
  • History of allergy to the studied drugs
  • Malignant hyperthermia
  • Patients taking anticonvulsants or aminoglycoside antibiotic
  • Hepatic dysfunction
  • Renal dysfunction
  • Cardiovascular dysfunction;
  • Electrolyte imbalance
  • Morbidly obese with a body mass index (BMI) more than 30 kg/m2
  • Pregnant or nursing mothers.
