Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- adult patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery with OLV
Exclusion
- COPD
- Active respiratory infection
- Prior lung resection
- Prior esophageal/gastric surgery
- Esophageal varices
- Patients under effective anticoagulation at time of surgery
- Pacemaker/ICD
- Pregnancy
- Inability to give written informed consent
