Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients in sinus rhythm
  • with or without previous paroxysmal AF
  • with dual-chamber pacemakers (PMs), implantable cardioverterdefibrillators (ICDs), and devices for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT)
  • capable of atrial activity monitoring were included in the study

Exclusion

  • Previous documented atrial fibrillation
