Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Age ≥ 18 years
- Non- Emergency Cardiac Surgery with Midline Sternotomy OR Thoracic Surgery via VATS or Lateral Thoracotomy
- Written informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion
- Patient unable to understand the study protocol
- History of a psychotic psychiatric disorder
- Unable to speak English
