Inclusion
- Emergency midline laparotomy.
Exclusion
- Surgical infection present at the moment of surgery.
- Ventrla or incisional hernia present at the moment of laparotomy .
- Open abdomen.
- Preoperative American Society of Anesthesiologist score (ASA) of V.
