Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • more than 18 years old
  • emergency surgery for gastro-intestinal perforations
  • with or without signs of septic shock

Exclusion

  • All patients with covered perforations or abdominal perivisceral free air bubbles treated with non- operative management
  • delayed surgery
