Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Admitted to the ICU
  • Mechanically ventilated
  • Receiving enteric feedings for at least 48 hours

Exclusion

  • Pregnancy
  • Previously diagnosed neurocognitive disorders,
  • Alcohol withdrawal and history of alcohol dependence
