Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Currently using Nexplanon and requesting removal
- Qualifies for outpatient removal
- Ability to understand and sign informed consent
Exclusion
- Pregnancy
- Any rashes or skin conditions around the insertion site
- Known allergy to lidocaine
- Known allergy to biocompatible plastics or stainless steel
