Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Currently using Nexplanon and requesting removal
  • Qualifies for outpatient removal
  • Ability to understand and sign informed consent

Exclusion

  • Pregnancy
  • Any rashes or skin conditions around the insertion site
  • Known allergy to lidocaine
  • Known allergy to biocompatible plastics or stainless steel
