Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • non-diabetic women with overweight/obesity
  • constant body weight for the last three months before enrollment
  • standard dietary and physical activity habits

Exclusion

  • pregnancy
  • lactation
  • chronic medical illness
  • use of nutritional supplements
  • alcohol consumption \>2 drinks per day
