Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • PICU patients indicated for nutritional support by enteral feeding (gastric or jejunal)

Exclusion

  • Enteral feeding contraindicated
  • Persistent haemodynamic instability
  • Informed consent not signed
  • Acute pancreatitis
  • Recent upper gastrointestinal surgery
  • Gut perforation
  • Ileus
