Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • adult patients
  • complaining of carpal tunnel syndrome of 3 month duration or more
  • diagnosed axonal neuropathy using electrodiagnosis , nerve conduction study

Exclusion

  • • patient refusal infection at the site of intervention
  • local anesthetic allergy
