Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • clinical diagnosis of burning mouth syndrome

Exclusion

  • pregnancy, breastfeeding or pregnancy planning
  • anamnestic data about active gastric or duodenal ulcer
  • decreased levels of serum iron or B vitamins
