Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • \- Parturients with BMI≥50 kg/m2 requesting epidural labor analgesia or undergoing elective cesarean delivery

Exclusion

  • contraindication to epidural anesthesia
  • allergy or hypersensitivity to lidocaine, bupivacaine or fentanyl
  • those with implanted electronic devices.
