Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- ED visit for uncomplicated pain crisis
- Sickle cell disease
- Receipt of at least one opioid
Exclusion
- Acute chest syndrome
- Fever \> 38.5 in the ED
- priapism
- sickle cell trait
