Inclusion
- age \> 18 years
- planned elective surgery
- planned inhalational anesthesia
- planned use of desflurane
Exclusion
- emergency surgery
- use of other inhalational anesthetic agent (sevoflurane, isoflurane, nitrous oxide)
- disclosed or recognized pregnancy
