Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Children within age group of 5-7 years
  • Children who were advised to undergo venous puncture in the pediatric ward

Exclusion

  • Chronically ill
  • Mentally handicapped
  • Already having local anesthesia at the venous puncture site
